But this was just drinking perfectly for my taste. So much delightful and playful red fruits and berries in this, while the age has really brought so much balance and complexity with secondary and a touch of tertiary notes. Beautiful freshness and acidity!

Burgundy Tasting (Restaurant Schweizer's, Stuttgart): Glass: Spiegelau Burgundy Clear, deep and glowing ruby color. Beautiful fine, dense and deep nose with great fruit and some blood. Complex and nice. On the palate very fine and elegant. High, ripe and very fine tannin. Beautiful balance, elegance, precision and focus. Fine fruit mixed with some soil and a lovely mineral core. Very deep and with a good length. Only downside for me, it felt a tiny bit hot with only 13% abv. Nevertheless a beautiful wine with a solid upscale potential. 93-94

Weekly tasting group RWP #351; 2009 (@ VD): Beautiful and most expressive and complex bouquet of the flight. Animals, a bit rustic and also some minerals. On the palate earth, some autumn impressions, strawberries and blueberries, iron, minerals, good acidity and sticky tannin. Good length and also a good future. 92+

During a Burgundy dinner. Nose of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, plum. On the palate very new worldish. Meh, really not my style. Touch of heat at the finish as well.

Riktigt Bra vin, finns en liten hetta och klumighet som drar ner betyget, säkert årgången men ändå så bra
