The cork disintegrated and forced us to use strainer and decanter. Cloudy orange-tainted and red. Surprising just how fresh the wine remained even on a warm day with long airing. Not the most complex, but silky with plenty of juicy fruits. The fact that it stayed as fresh as it did as long as it did, put it--in the words of a friend--“in a different league” from most mature Beaujolais. A real treat. Wish I had more. No signs of oxidation.
