Colour remains deep; substantial bouquet, baked plums, suave; supple, velvety texture to fruit, fleshy; expansive, broad finish. No rush but this has peaked. 5 years since previous bottle & reminiscent of Burgundy from very warm vintage. Good accompaniment to calves liver.

This is a very fine and elegant Gamay that could easily pass for a very nice pinot. Drinking very well now. Cherry and raspberry, minerality, good acids and tannins. Very nice finish.

Really nice. This is a wine that reminds me Beaujolais is a real part of Burgundy. At 10 years old, this wine is youthful, delicious, and just starting to develop some secondary characteristics. The red fruits are very Pinot-esque with fresh red cherries and raspberries. There is a medicinal bitter quality to the fruits as well that reminds me of cough drops- this may sound negative but it keeps the wine refreshing and pairs so nicely with food. I love the balancing act between complexity and transparency here as well. Most impressively- half a bottle kept will in the fridge for 3 days showing that this bottle can last a good deal longer, I would say 5 years at least, likely 10. Great stuff!

92 Nada que ver con la anterior botella. Bonito color evolucionado, capa media-baja. En nariz hay carne cruda, tinta y notas de frutas rojas. Muy elegante, aromas muy francos. En boca está en su punto, muy vivo, con fruta ácida, fresas, frambuesas. Es armonioso, con buen final. Limpio. Muy buena botella, para compensar la anterior.
