Really drinking quite well right now. The nose is a bit earthy with good dark cherries and some black raspberries. Also some char. On the palate, this is juicy. Some depth. A bit of complexity. Long finish. Really hitting its stride, but no hurry.

A well known wine critic called it "a baby Chateauneuf du Pape" and that's a pretty darn good description. Soft and smooth, less fruit than herbs and spice, medium finish and drinking very well now. Nose and taste coincide. It can go a few more years, but why wait?

Dark ruby colour. Spicy, a little dark fruits. Full body but higher alcohol (15%) is built-in very well. Longer cherrish aftertaste. Very good QPR.

Fairly big and ripe, with lots of oak. A decent drink, but in small quantities.
