Very different from the amazingly youthful bottle enjoyed in 12/19. Medium to full golden color; nose of bruised apple and lemon cake; tiniest hint of melon from aging; lactic, smooth and balanced; drink up!

Served at 55F. Expressive nose of buttery cider and flint. On the palate, beautifully balanced and intense with orchard fruit seamlessly fading to sturdy aged acid. I am not a big white-wine drinker but Batard-Montrachets are among my favorites and this bottle is right up there.

Remarkably pale and youthful appearance; majestic nose of real substance, extract, volume and gravitas. Clearly GC level. Outstanding stuff!!!

Great concentration and intensity on the nose from the get-go; layers of orchard fruits apple and pear with honeyed flowers on top with bits of flint and smoke. The palate showed more acidic lift than I would have thought for '09 white but ya never know! Great showing! The flavors are beginning to show some mineral complexity at this point. No rush at all!
