Very different from the 2011. Decanted about 2 hours. Not much of a nose. Purple, blue and black fruit. Relatively complex and integrated. Decent finish. Very much appreciated by the father-in-law.

Improved on second day. Deep red. Ripe berry. Medium length finish. A bit hot. Can still age 2-3 more years.
