Opened up after 30-45 minutes. Classic nose of olive tapenade, some red fruit but fairly one dimensional. Palate just starting to develop nicely, with good richness, red fruit, tart peppery finish. Med+ or better length. I picked this up to see how Lionnet Cornas develops and I’m encouraged. This is a very classy N Rhône that would have a very long life. Very tasty!

Well made and in it's early drinking window. Coffee, olives, smoked meat here, good nerve, good acidity. Will go on, but I like the juicyness, that's here now - and won't stay forever.

Tasting Northern Rhones with the Vingerons (Heirloom Cafe): From magnum. Clean fruit bouquet. Coffee and stems tar, lime, and blackberries. Black pepper. Smooth and warmly blanketing.
