  Dark inky purple, full bodied looking wine
  Dark berries, pencil lead, fruit leather, re licorice
  Big and bold, dry, nice tannin. Nice balanced. Wet paper.
  This wine is int it's zone. Well made.

  upon opening the wine seemed closed or tired. After decanting it gained in strength and weight and tannins came out. Mature but still on its plateau if given proper aeration.
