Light apple juice color. Fat butterscotch-laced Chardonnay notes with a slight older petrol or chemical note. Full palate. Enjoyable, but needs to be drunk up.

A pleasant surprise while on my quest to drink up the older chardonnays in my cellar. I've had a lot os misses (darn!) but this one is pleasant. It has a nice level of complexity at this age and goes well with the grilled king crab legs. I'm happy!

A golden colored beauty. While certainly on its way down, it still has plenty of charm with great depth. What it has lost in intensity, it makes up for in complexity and style. Beyond the pear and apricot, sugary vanillin (as in creme brulee), honey and butterscotch, it displays a light nuttiness, like honey roasted cashews, that adds a bit of flair. It evolved nicely and didn't flag over the evening, but I'd still drink up.

Deep golden color. Has the PM chard nuisances of citrus, plush aftertaste. A bit on the down side, but held together well. drink now

Outstanding despite its maturity, immediately drinkable, full dimensionality.
