Typical Pauillac but without anything special. Very good with « bavette de boeuf à l’échalotte »

Drinking well, this wine displayed a lot of Pauillac characteristics such as cedar, graphite and and a hint of acidic blackcurrant. So, seemingly good value compared to the price of some of its neighbours. However the overall sensation was a mere shadow of those neighbours. Still enjoyed with our leg of lamb. Always a great pair.

Decanted for an hour. Unfortunately, this is my last bottle, compared to the ones I had before, this is the best. Overall consistent with previous notes, but more mature. Spice and oak. Good balance of tannins and acidity. Very smooth taste.

Berries, cherry. Soft, grippy tannins, balanced, short finish. Relatively simple, but I enjoyed it.
