Attractive blackcurrant compote, cedar and a floral tones. None of the previous overripe prune notes. Clean and enjoyable, the best so far. ****.

A hint of prunes on the opening, but freshend with cedar on the end which lifts it.

Decanted 1hr ahead.
Colour medium deep, rim maturing red, good clarity.
Nose of strong tobacco, with earth and plums. More Pessac than Margaux. Seems Merlot led.
The tannin was soft as was the acidity. The fruit was broad, slightly lumpy, and much more Merlot than Cabernet. Over a couple of hours it became slightly finer and more focused.
No need to keep it, but it will last. Good rather than great, more Friday night than Sunday lunch wine.

Vraiment un WOW pour ce vin malheureusement plus disponible. Belle couleur rubis. Un nez fort complexe et une superbe finale. Dernière bouteille de ce 2010
