As others have said, a decent wine for the price. A nice grassy, citrusy mix on the nose. This is a sweeter S.B. up front than most I've had (although my experience is limited), settling down after a few seconds into a tangy, light flavor. Not super crisp, but certainly not syrupy or heavy.

Very nice s.v. Pale color. Nose of grass and something citrus. Actually quite enjoyable...subtle citrus yet rather smooth. Reminds me of the style of Merry Edwards SV, that is somewhat like a chard. Nice wine for the price.

Petit Bourgeois - a screw top everyday wine - and it is pretty decent. The French of course typically scorn the screw top and Henri Bourgeois has disguised it to look more like the traditional foil. The label is attractive and makes the wine appear approachable and slightly contemporary and it is really a very refreshing sauvignon blanc. Just 12.5 percent with no pretence, perhaps overly mineral but extremely palatable with a hint of grassy knolls. It is an ideal companion for roast chicken, fish or any light meal as there is no dominant flavour and comes across as extremely pure and refreshing. This is my first Henri Bourgeois wine and will now look out to try their sancerre, but this offers terrific value as a great table wine and it is bone dry.

grassy, citrus, misses crispiness & elegantness. At 70% of the price of the Quincy of HB, the Petit Bourgeois is better value than the Quincy.
