Waited too long :-(. It’s mellowed too much for my taste. No real tartness left as some other earlier reviewers have observed. Very oaky and ripe berries. It’s mellowed to the point that I can tell it’s a Pinot, but it’s deep, ruby, and muddled flavors.
Still, it’s delicious, but I wish I had opened it 4 years ago. My other Saintsbury Pinots won’t wait nearly this long.

With Doug and Debbie, socially distanced dinner in their yard. PnP, drank over 45 minutes
Deep red/garnet color. Nose was red fruits, spice/clove and damp earth. Dark red fruits, and some spice on the palate. Full body, finish faded quickly.
Fruit was stewed, no real distinctions. Felt very heavy and non-descript. I don't believe this was a bad bottle, just made in a dense way that has very little expression of the varietal. I am a fan of the Saintsbury wines I have had, this one was disappointing at best

By now it's bordering on garnet in color, with pretty deep berry and earth nose and palate. Acid has waned a touch, but the taste and mouthfeel were satisfying with a medium finish.

This was not a good tasting wine, very strong tannins for a Pinot Noir, over powered the flavor profiles; I wouldn't recommend.

Absolutely delicious, supposed to drink in 2013, even in 2016 it was very good.
