  Still holding strong despite 11 years age. Mellowed and subdued nose of honeycomb, pastry dough, walnuts and baked quince. Palate follows the nose along with some orange rind, and still carries healthy amount of acid. Admirable showing for a wine i was afraid would disappoint.

  Medium golden straw color. In need of some breathing. After an hour or so it opens up with a nose of tropical fruit and lemon and just a hint of oak.pleasant round mouthfeel yet with good acidity and bright flavor of minerals, tropical fruits, a bit of citrus and a little nuttiness. Good but not my favorite year.
