Appearance: pale gold. Nose: medium plus intensity; aromas of lemon oil, lemon curd, yellow nectarine, almond, honey, toast, pastry, flint, saline. It’s fully developed. Palate: dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, Medium plus flavour intensity, medium plus finish. Great concentration and complexity. Typical Chablis, but riper than expected. Overall, it’s a very good wine. Drink at its peak now.

Not a detailed note, but just to register that this bottle had minimal oxidation, or more properly was on a gentle ageing course. Undeniably chablis in character and moderately concentrated, but lacking particularly defining qualities IMHO.

two bottles opened with both quite a pale yellow - slight whiff of oxidisation with one which disappeared after a while - the wine was disappointing: tired and flabby, there was no vibrancy to it at all - what a strange wine.....

I must be the luckiest person with this wine. I see the number od bottles that are cooked. Each bottle is amazing and it is now at it's peak and absolutely singing right now. One more to go and I won't wait long.
