Beautiful brassy colour and high-toned nose. On the palate, this just keeps growing in the mouth, with laser-like acidity and some breadth - but it remains elegant. The finish goes on and on. Stunning wine.

Killer six course/eight PYCM wines at Anhelo in downtown Phoenix.
Was absolutely blown away by how damn good but young this wine is. Tremendous cornucopia of flavors that run the spectrum, and although still tight needing more time, it had all the good/greats one would expect from this ‘Grand Cru’ site! Hold for another 3-5 years as it will allow the palate to unravel a bit more and showcase the reductive note a bit more. Awesome wine.

Decanted for 2 hours. Served blind at Kim’s house. Wine A. Lovely nose, floral, spice, a little tropical fruit and honey, with a dose of sulphur induced funk. Not readily identifiable as PYCM because it lacked the flinty lemon that I usually find in the wines. Deep, ripe fruit with a lemony flavor profile, lower acid but very deep and pure palate that leads to a lemon rind finish that is both drying and chalky. I initially thought this to be a 2009 vintage from Bouchard, but then switched to 2015 as it sat in the glass. My favorite of the 2 wines.

Flinty sensation with lemon curd, white flowers, peach and perfume. Great tension and complexity on the palate with long finish.
