  Optik: dunkles rubinrot
  
  Nase: mittlere Aromen von Himbeer, marmeladig, Vanille, Cassis, roter Holunder. Voll gereift.
  
  Gaumen: trocken, mittlere (+) Säure, mittlerer Alkohol, hohes Tannin, mittlerer Körper mit mittleren Aromen wie in der Nase, langer Abgang.
  
  Trinkreif: jetzt trinken, nicht für weitere Lagerung geeignet
  
  Qualität: sehr gut
  
  Gesamturteil: Sehr guter mit hervorragendem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Tannine sind immer noch sehr zupackend und werden wohl auch nicht mehr sanfter in den nächsten Jahren. Jetzt in guter Trinkreife, wird aber sicher noch 5-6 Jahre in gleicher Qualität halten. Der Wein sollte mit einem gutem Stück rotem Fleisch genossen werden.

  Mittelkräftiges Bordeaux, schöner Glanz. Saubere Nase, offen, zugänglich, rote Beeren, würzige Komponenten, gute Komplexität. Am Gaumen weich und warm im Auftakt, sehr schöne Frucht, die Gerbstoffe präsent aber nicht zu dominant, eine leichte Süsse zeigt sich, dazu kommen auch Weihnachtsgewürze. Gute Komplexität und Länge, endet im Abgang auf Blutorange. Ein guter Wein für alle Tage. Jetzt bis 2024, 17 vvPunkte (85/100) www.vvwine.ch

  We had this wine (2010) by the glass in restaurant La Briquetterie in Vinay, north of Eprnay. Very velvety, clear but fine tannins, lots of body, fine dark small fruits, moderate acidity.

  Rough surface, a lot of fruit, high acidity. Need a couple of years in bottle.
  
  Will probably reach 92-94p in my book later
