Classic big, rich, sweet, medicinal Barossa nose. Plenty of weight in the mouth. Slightly savoury edge. Very good length. Still a little bit of grip on the finish, but the tannins are pretty much resolved now. Can't say I'm a big fan - this just isn't my style of wine - but it's still going strong.

Good quality cork. Not decanted. 14% alcohol. Complex nose, mulberries, figs, aniseed. On the palate, really very figgy but not cloying, acidity cuts through the mild sweetness. Lots going on in the mouth. Really delicious wine. Long aftertaste, earthy, spicy, almost toffee, figs again. Seems to be able to develop more, certainly not on a downward slope.

Nice deep red. Musty dusty dark fruit nose, oak in there. Not giving up too much. Great mouth feel, floats across the palates, seamless red fruits. Bit of charred oak. Finish is a bit quick. Not a huge extract Shiraz, just good wine making. Lingernig now. Went well with the roast spiced lamb, and now with cookies. Out of the 1.5, and these are Day II notes. Tannins are perfect, drink up. Not getting better and not much time before goes pear shaped.
