Definitely the best Gros F&S I have had. The nose exhibited lovely aromatics with flowers, dark fruit, and spice. Good transperency and layers on the palate with precise sweetness. Drinking beautifully now. 93++

During a Burg dinner. As always with Gros Frere & Soeurs, dense, dark, almost cloudy color. Palate shows rich, ripe, cooked fruit. Tannins are rustic but there is enough fruit for it. All in all I don't like the style of this house. Why make such a concentrated, oaky, late harvest Pinot that extinguishes elegance and masques the terroir.

HDH auction tasting at Tru (Chicago, IL): Aromas of earthy dark fruit, a little bit of iron oxide. Quite dense and concentrated on the palate, with a flavour profile that matches the nose. Some fruity sweetness is present as well, and compliments the fading and resolved tannins. Great drink.

Aroma is better than 03. Palate is linear.
