D+0h: medium desposit in the filter, some in the bottle, smells of dark fruits D+4,5h: dark as ink, smells of blackberry and eucalyptus, medium body, nice residual sugar without being sweet, in the mouth blackberry and raspberry, in the aftertaste blackberry, medium long finish (20 sec), this benefited from a longer decant, when sampled at D+3h it tasted a littled bit "metallic". All in all, it's a nice wine, but not anything special.

Brown-red in colour. Mint, chocolate and raspberry in aroma. Licorice in palate. Tanning was smooth. The second bottle of the same vintage in a month. The wine is approaching the end of its drinking window. Still went well with gravy beef. After enough breathing, this wine goes much better than it was just opened. Dry plum flavour dominates. I will decant it long enough next time.

Youthful purple colour. Ripe raspberry, blackberry and chocolate nose. Young, firm and assertive palate; good fruit and finish. Just what you expect a Douro red to be. 4/5

This wine was not worth the effort it took to open the bottle.
