Mid-ruby colour. Bouquet of dark cherry, spice, rose, and some strawberry. Medium- to full-bodied palate, richly flavoured and almost meaty with dark cherry, rhubarb, spice, and sarsparilla. Finishes fresh, with an excellent balance. Still relatively primary. Ready to drink now but I would say with potential to develop further complexity over the next 3-5 years. I have not tasted this wine previously, am very impressed.

When I first tasted this wine I thought it would have the structure/fruit to last 5+ years. It does not. However, it is still a good wine now. A deep jaffa colour, ok berries and length of palate albeit thinning a little. The wine has been cellared well since bought. I am drinking without food while watching Sunshine - a great movie. Suggest drinking soon if you have any in your cellar.

Nose not particularly compelling for a Pinot Noir. Bright core of sweet red cherry. Multidimensional with both sweet fruit and savoury elements. Good persistence. (91 Very good wine)

This has matured and softened out nicely. Perfumed with a soft mouthfeel. Nicely balanced. Drinking very well at the moment.

Regionality of Tasmanian Pinot Noir (Restaurant Arris, Cleveland Street, Sydney): Colour: medium ruby
Nose Farmyard funk, jooby red fruit, slight candy floss (partial carbonic maceration?), oaky spice and earth
Mouth: Chocolate, oak, spice, bit warm…disappointing
