I've now had three bottles from my initial purchase of a six-pack. The first two bottles I had were heavily marked by sulfur. This did not blow off over time, or at least not over the kind of time period that I was prepared to give it.
This third bottle had no such problem. It was harmonious with ripe black fruit and a supple texture. Reminiscent of the style I've experienced from this producer before.
I look forward to the next three bottles with trepidation. Was this a bottling problem with poor adjustment of the sulfur? If so, just a batch or is more widespread? I have a wine-merchant friend who has had similar problems, but from a different vintage of this wine. Most perplexing.
Has it now resolved itself? I have no idea, but I'll let you know when I broach the next Bottles.

Seems to have put on a bit of firmness with a peppery, stony spine now quite well formed and much more befitting of C-H appellation. Love this for the price (£12.50).

Somewhat disappointing-both nose and fruit barely present.

Smoky and spicy with wild oregano notes and blueberries abound . Well structured and utterly joyous to drink. A stonking bargain on sale at £8.90.

2nd bottle tasted. Short on fruit and quite strong on sulphur. Disappointing!
