Impressive power, utterly delicious! Pure Elsasser Riesling! Beautifully balanced and going strong. The right food pairing might take it to the next level. 93-94.

New Year's Day, 2015 with Bud and Liz, Chris and John, Marc and Justine, Lottie and Moss (Eketahuna, New Zealand): Stunning riesling with a round slightly sweet palate. Broad and ripe in texture, this has opulence and beautiful aged layered nuance. Fully flavoured. The balance favors the richness and while there is excellent acidity, I could imagine that the wine could have taken more acid quite happily. Having said that, this is a complete wine with a very strong personality. This is at its peak.

with curry made on the bbq. dark yellow going to copper, this wine is stoney and sweet at the same time. I think it is maturing, and was really good on a warm evening on the patio with the spicy food. Yum.

Apricot, dry extract and petrol. More power than the 96 Brand on the side, but also a touch sweeter. Very nice.

Still very alive. Limited pesto, good acid, some sweetness. Good as aperitif or with asian food.
