  Bouquet of ripe red berries, gooseberries, pastry, dough, undergrowth. Medium-bodied, silky palate of ripe berries, cherries, with a tart element, sweetness and freshness nicely balanced. Not overly complex, but great to drink.

  Decanted 2 hours and put back into the bottle to take to the restaurant. Right out of the gate the nose is open and giving - spice, earth, berries, perfectly ripe fruit, dark berries. On the palate this on the richer side but not overtly so. Lush fruit, good spice and solid finish. It just gives it to you. Really good now with upside.

  Bouquet of ripe berries, cherries and gooseberries, spices. Full palate, ripe and still fresh, leading to a nice finish, with spices, some bitter tones, sweetness, reminding of blood oranges with cane sugar. Light yet full, very enjoyable.

  Opened for a themed tasting, otherwise would have preferred to keep it a few more years. Met my expectations - very good but will likely be better in a few more years.
