  En liten Barolo, stor og kraftig med mer tjære enn blomster. Lyse bær, mer kirsebær enn moreller. En del jordlige aromaer, og et kraftig tanninbitt for en Langhe Nebbiolo (selv i 06) som skjuler frukten, men den kommer bedre frem jo lengre den får stå i glasset. Bra kompleksitet for sitt nivå.
  
  Resten av min six-pack skal få hvile noen år før denne testes igjen.

  A very enjoyable Nebbiolo. No sign of being at the end of its drinking window. Not to be mistaken for a fruit forward new world wine, which earlier reviewers seem to be comparing it against. A great example of the nebbiolo grape and the tannins are softer as an '06 should be. A very good value vs Barbarescos and Barolos although certainly more simple.

  Disappointing. Lacks much fruit on the palate and the tannins pretty much overwhelm any fruit that even tries to show through. Quite dry.
  
  EDIT: Revisited the remaining half of this bottle two days after I opened it and to my surprise, the wine showed much, much better. It had opened up a lot and showed much more fruit and the tannins were a lot less harsh and became almost velvety in texture. A decent nebbiolo but I probably still wouldn't go out of my way to try another bottle.

  Nos z dużą dawką ciemnych owoców, leśnej ściółki dobrze wskazuje na twardość i powagę tego wina, dopiero po dłuższej chwili zaczyna oferować jakieś lżejsze niuanse. Usta twarde i potężne. Zdominowane garbnikiem. Na tle tego garbnika brakuje trochę kwasowości. Ale jest mocny owoc w ustach. Wino rozwija się bardzo przyjemnie. Po kilku godzinach od otwarcia jest dużo ciekawsze. Pewnie można jeszcze trochę poczekać

  Quite an impression with this Langhe Nebbiolo - drinks just as well, if not better than some Barolo normale. Sweet cherry cordial nose with dried raspberry and flowers with a smoke and tar resonance. Elegant in the mouth with secondary flavors of black tea and tart red berry with gripping tannins, leather and salumi. Very good Langhe Nebbiolo.
