I was a bit hesitant to pull the cork on this one given the low scores and tasting notes but I think I lucked out on this bottle. Did a brief splash decant and it had an amazing nose of earthy notes and dried cranberries so that captured my interest. I asked Paula how she liked the wine and she gave it a thumbs up so another plus. I've had good and bad wines from Ken Wright so even though he is a "legend" for Oregon Pinot I would prefer a more consistent producer. Anyway this wine, even though sourced at WTSO as others have noted, was a very decent showing for us and we enjoyed the bottle.

Very well done wine. We had some 2009 Guadeloupe as well and both were very enjoyable but different for sure. Enjoyed.

Horrible, undrinkable. Can’t even cook with it.

This wine has a funky barnyard nose that is well present on the palate, it feels like a burgundy clone of Pinot gone bad.
