Golden straw color of maturity; ripe golden apple and slight apricot sweet mature scents. Still fresh in the mouth with some viscous texture accompanying ripe apple flavors. Good acidity and length. A good bottle warranting this score though 1/3 of those I've opened have been over-the-hill oxidized.

Not oxidized. Deep yellow and nice balance of mineral and fruit. Served with belgian endive and baked chevre.

Excellent for elderly Savigny. No trace of problematic oxidization. Incredible value b/c you can pick these up cheap.
