Tight, lean, green sauv blanc here with light hints of oak. Pine needles, resin, tight citrus fruit. Palate is quite acidic, lean and sour and bitter. In my view not a great example.

Saw 'Les Miz' today and felt it appropriate for a night of Bordeaux, this was second of 3 bottles opened and I have to say that at this point we've not had a 'great' white Bordeaux, I should love these but perhaps our impatience gets the better of us and we really need to let one lie down for an extended period and age to it's full potential, all said this was still tasty and well made but there isn't a spark - Gold, full bodied with a nose of lemon, grass, lime, grapefruit and vanilla, nicely structured, decent acidity, well integrated, slightly sour, but sweet and smooth on the palate with very good length, very nice (89 Points).

100% Sauvignon blanc. Straw coloured. Fresh and vibrant nose, primarily citrus driven with lemon peel, lime juice, green apple and white flower notes, and wet stone minerality. Secondary notes of herbs and grass; tarragon perhaps? Notes of cream and hazelnut from barrique aging. Medium bodied and acid driven on the palate; fresh and lively, carrying on with lemon and green apple flavours. High-toned minerality, and cream notes on the finish. Nice example of a modern styled Bordeaux blanc.

Bright, and juicy, nectarine and apple with a gooseberry note. Viscous, weighty and lengthy with a toasty earthy finish.
