Lemon gold with an expressive nose offering daisies, hebs, chamomile around a core of apples, citrus & stone fruit. Evident use of oak that is well blended in. Creamy on palate with a refreshing acidity that balances light alcohol/12.5% and moderate body. Beautiful extract, intense concentration. Drinking well now but will keep for 3-4 years more. Overall expressive and harmonious.

This bottle was forgotten in a friend's refrigerator since mid-December with the level of the wine at almost 2/3 of the bottle. We found it and decided to taste it, believing it would be oxidized. SURPRISE! This was the best white 2007 Cruzeau I have ever tasted. The nose was quite evolved revealing tropical fruits like mango, passion fruit and mellon. Coffee scents and minerality were still there, as was the wine's freshness and crispy acidity. Healthy and vibrant, better than ever. A clear sign that this wine will improve with further cellaring or extended aeration. Very impressive indeed.

Light straw. Lovely combination of Sauvignon Blanc greenness with coffee bean and minerals. Obvious "Sur Lie" effect. Mid-bodied, crispy with bright fruit and zesty acidity. Fairly long finish. Very nice.

Clear medium lemon gold. Vegetal, slightly nutty, coffee edged aromas, oak and gooseberry fruit. Medium high acidity, medium body. Nice oak bring a honeyed edge to the quince & apricot. Medium length. Good.

Really good sauvignon. Fresh, we'll balanced. Not too mineral, so quite different than a good sauvignon from the Loire. Worth every penny.
