This was leo good as soon as it was uncorked and poured into the glass. Becoming translucent red. Intense aromas of earth and game but still incisive red fruit (raspberry, cherry and strawberry) on the nose. Silky and sweet in the mouth but not heavy. Good heavens. 2 left. I'll open at least one of them soon.

Very good QPR. Light with strong flavor of cherry cola. Long finish. Drinking well now. A little in the sour side though.

Enjoyed it a lot. Still some tannin but very drinkable already. Complex with good fruitiness as well.

Tasting at Phillipe Lecler Champagne winery, Gevrey-Chambertin, Franc: Planted higher up the hill, roots are deeper, more concentration. Big nose. Structured and layered. Could use 3-5 more years. Big tannins right now.
Both Steve and Linda's favorite of the tasting.
