One of three wines opened with the dinner of beautiful Pork Chops, Mushroom Farro, and Swiss Chard, this paired the best by far.
No detailed notes, I just remember the wine starting with a light mouth feel and becoming fuller and more complex as the night wore on. Only decanted for 30 minutes, should have given this bottle longer.
This was an excellent value at $35.00, I wish I had a few more to spend more time with.

Black cherry aromas with smoked game sausage, savory spice and hints of new oak remain. Similar flavors are still slightly backward for now, but showing better potential with its good+ concentration and length. Tannins still a bit more firm than I’d prefer, so will hold my remaining bottles for at least 5 more years.

Lovely perfumed nose, but the palate, while also good, had a slight bitterness to it. Not drinking quite as well as a few years back. Drink up!

Old world with a heavy strapping of leather, dusty red raspberry and alluvial stone on the finish.

A really pleasant Burgundy for the price. Cherries and a hint of wood on the well-balanced finish.
