  • Not exactly sure when I bought this, but not sure the time investment was worth it. Lovely colour. Nose is not that expressive, austere and mineral with some iron and pencil notes . Palate is a little more giving, with juicy balanced fruit and a long finish. Veers more to dark fruit than red but there is lightness to the wine as well which is really nice with food. Very good without getting to great. Will keep 1/2 for tomorrow and will update.

Better with air. This was quite a bit better after two days. Nose gained a little, but the palate really deepened out and became longer. Upgrade to 91.

  • Decanted ~4 hours. This was really shy upon opening. Seemed a little shut down. Started to open up and was great by the time we consumed it with dinner.

A very elegant style of Cornas. The nose is a little shy, but shows a hint of pyrazine, black pepper and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is fantastic. Nice red fruited profile. Not at all overdone. No perceivable oak and completely integrated tannins. Good acidity and body. The finish is pleasant.

A really fine wine. Drink or hold.

  • It's been almost 4 years since my last bottle, pnp, consumed over the course of a few hours. This wine has really mellowed out since I last had it. Still fairly big tannin but not at all angular or harsh as I remembered it being. Fruit was dark, some decent Syrah character with a hint of olive and subtle smokiness. Not at the top of my syrah list but was a very enjoyable wine.
