Delicious. This 32-year old Napa Valley cabernet has held up a like a champ. Granted, the body is a little thin at this point, but expectations were low going in the the wine surprised with strong remnants of dark fruit, olives and some remaining hints of spice.

Had low expectations for a 26 year old middling wine, but was very pleased. Maintained its structure and most of its fruit. Had nice "old" flavors, almost glycerine like. Held up for the several hours it took to drink it. Decanted about an hour ahead. Could hold a few more years with probably no significant deterioration.

Lots of dried fruit (raisin, prune) cigar box, tobacco.
The alcohol on the nose was very strong, but after about half an hour in a decanter it got quite nice. There was just the slightest hint of tannin left giving it somewhat of a backbone. Very fun to drink.
I had three of these I picked up as a gamble for $20 each. This was the third and unfortunately the last. A

Yet surprisingly enjoyable to drink.
