Yum. Grippy black fruit, coffee, green pepper, cedar, a big splash of acid especially on the finish. Dark fruit, light profile. Great age, fully mature. Drink now to 2028.

Wow, this is so good. Full fruit with all the Cab Franc herbal and green overtones. Deep coffee, earth, mushroom, umami. Green pepper, dried oregano. Really in a great place maturity wise, this should be on a plateau till around 2026. Great acidic balance, great depth, length. A Chinon on the full, almost lush side. The barnyard won't be for everyone, but I love it.

Blackberry and plum, still showing some freshness, followed by inky cassis and a touch of anise. Quite ripe, but with enough juicy acidity. The tannins are pretty much fully resolved, leaving a rather soft mouthfeel. The only knock is a somewhat short finish.

Delicious. Full of dark, muddy, dirty, smokey black fruit. Some anise, mushroom, tobacco. Lighter notes too with flowers and dried herbs. Really in a great place, drinking well but no rush. Love it, this is just why I cellar mid-priced Chinon.

Very good. May benefit from a little more time in bottle.
