Monthly Tasting Group HWS #077; Round the Corton hill in Burgundy (By BD): It seems that the wine has closed a bit over the last year. The bouquet shows some cherry fruits, but is a bit reticent. On the palate juicy red cherries and some blackberries and friendly acidity, tannin and bitterness. Short finish. Overall not really complex, but enjoyable. Maybe wise to wait a few years. Until 2016+?

DIVA Burgundy Tasting; 3/21/2012-3/22/2012 (Maison Champy - Beaune): Wine tasting. Good red fruit aromas and flavors. Simple but very easy to enjoy today, with good balance.

Ripe red forest fruits, mild and good acidity and tannin. Harmonious and finesse. Long finish. Already a pleasure.
