Really nice stuff. Alcohol in the high 14% range but it leverages this to delivery elegant pure flavors. A bargain just north of $40 compared to the Pisoni estate bottling I've seen for over $100 retail. A noticeable step up from the Capiaux Sonoma Coast "Chimera" bottling. 92+
California Pinot Noir (SF Wine Trading Company): Dark ruby core. Cool licorice and herb aromatics. Sappy black cherry with a whiff of that New World cola element, but this is framed by complex earth and green tones. Average acidity, round tannins. Even if the balance is not perfect, this has a lot going for it.
