7 days in Italy.; 6/16/2012-6/22/2012 (Italy): ~20,000btls. 4-5 day harvest. Treiso is prime for Dolcetto for it's floral and fruit combo. 4-5 days on the skins, soft tannin. Brilliant and vibrant blue fruit on the nose. Palate shows off black tea style. Generally a quiet, yet firm acid on this one. Jeffrey calls out the 'bitter sweet' of Dolcetto. Monte Aribaldo dates to 1635.

Pork shoulder, smoked meat, pungent or smoked cheese wine. Plum, grape, cotton candy to nose. Mild, earth flavor to taste. Spice to taste.
