  We bought this recently on offer, presumably Majestic trying to shift a parcel, and it was well worth it. It's not going to get any better, and perhaps it is even very slightly past it's best but it was still a treat.
  Rubyish-burgundy, with a little brick at the edges but otherwise pretty consistent colour.
  Dried fruit nose, with a hint of blue cheese initially; peppery and nose-clearing without being overtly menthol. Maybe a slightly dustiness.
  Incredibly soft in the mouth, indicating it's not going to progress much further. Very dry black fruits with some sweeter red poking through. Savoury-edged. Moreish because of its softness. A lingering mellow finish that leaves blackberries and dried fruit in the mouth.
