Ruby garnet hue. Black fruit, leather, spice, smoked meat. Dry, tight upon opening, prunes, cherries, spice. Thought the bottle would open up a little-- never did. Candidly, I had better expectations for this bottle.

A Ribera del Duero with excellent qualities. Both powerfull and elegant. Lots of non-sweet fruits and spices. Warm, round, with an impressive length. Good QPR! I recommend to drink it out of a Bordeaux-Glass at around 17°C / 62.5°F.

Have had this wine on several occasions and this is a very good Emilio Moro. Served with grilled steak au poivre. Good fruit with berries, spice, leather and wood, balanced acidity and a good finish. Look forward to drinking the remainder of these over the next 2-5 years.

Medium ruby-garnet, narrow tears @14% abv. Medium(-) aromas of black fruit, vanilla, leather, smoked meat notes. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium tannin, medium(+) alcohol and medium body. Medium(+) flavors of cherries, mocha, prunes, leather. Balance, soft texture couterbalanced by crisp acidity and ripe tannin. A slight hole in the middle palate before compact fruity-chalky finish sets in. A good wine, excellent QPR.

Well drinking now. Good fruit/acidity with discernible but integrated tannins.
