A really nice wine that was good on its own but even better with food. We tried it a couple of years ago and the difference between then and now was substantial in that it is now well integrated, smooth, and a bit more complex. I plan to add it back into the collection soon.

Nose of pickling juice and grape vines. Initial taste of vanilla, sweet hay, light mandarin orange, and Keiffer lime, possibly lite stone fruit. Well balanced and great with fish.

Blind at the store: apricot, nectarine, guava-- low aromatics though; a little honey, slight waxiness, slight nuttiness, root beer, pear, stony minerals; med. body, medium acid, medium + alc. This was really tricky and with a sort of light body and brighter fruits I thought it could pass for Bordeaux blanc. Mostly Bourbelenc with Grenache blanc, Picpoul and a little Roussanne.
