Tasting the way aged St. Joseph should, excellent !! Perfect cork after over a decade in the bottle, easily removed. Consumed over two days. Dark burgundy color with no oxidation and no clarity. Aromas of tart cherry, glycerin, and rhubarb. Flavors of black cherry cola, raspberry framboise, and leather. This Syrah has a medium finish of bacon fat. A balanced and flavorful Syrah from the Northern Rhône Valley.

shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate surviving another week during the pandemic. the wine continues to show well. generous on the nose. smooth as silk on the palate. dark fruit, earth, mineral notes. medium body and finish. great qpr. will enjoy remaining bottles at regular intervals during 2021.

Holy cow-This wine is truly hitting its stride. This is the last of 4 bottles and in retrospect the other three were consumer prematurely. Came out singing on pop and pour with dark purple color, no bricking, nose of violets, tar, and cassis, and nicely balanced palate with some fine residual tannins. Mid-length finish. A steal at $18 and a definite rebut but would be careful to cellar subsequent purchases sufficiently.

Agree with reviews. Drinking well, silky smooth, terrific QPR if you have been patient and aged 14 years.
