  • My wife and I were preparing grilled halibut and filet and I thought this wine would go adequately with both. The halibut had a good amount of spice and was mesquite smoked. I had this wine before and loved it! However, this time around, not so much. The nose seemed ok with notes of minerals and cream, but we also detected some sourness though. And with or without food we tasted some sourness. It did develop over time in the glass, which kind of redeemed my purchase. Not sure if it was an off bottle or not. It pains me to say that I score this wine an 87 or 88.

  • Domaine Serene tasting (Knightsbridge Wine Shoppe): Lovely nose of berries and minerality, very Pinot like on the nose.
Great oak treatment on this wine. Palate echoes the nose. One could be fooled into thinking this was a Provence rose.

    SS 90pts.
