This wine was definitely on the down slope and i am sure it would have earned a 92+ 5 years ago. Rich golden color now, with moderate oxidation. After 30 minutes it began to open up with peaches, strawberries and rhubarb. this is a great wine, next time i will before its 11 years old

My last bottle and almost certainly the last bottle of Couer Blanc I will own. While not a bad wine, it does now, and has the last several times I've tasted it, leave me feeling abit disappointed. There is certainly some pretty stone fruit and some white pepper on the finish if you can get past the up front preponderance of oak. Everyone I've had taste this blind guesses its a nice $25 bottle of wine. I agree completely. In my opinion, other than its value as a novelty, its certainly not worth the $75 price tag.

Another Saturday at Chevalier...Mostly Blind (Chicago, IL): Tasted double blind. Ripe and slightly blowsy with baked apple notes, just lacked a clear center of gravity. Probably much better when younger/ fresher

Keep it cold and its a fine wine. Let it get warm and it isnt very good. Treat this as an old champage for drinking
