Pyrenees Wineries' Visit (Pyrenees, Vic): {cork, 14.5%} This generous look into the future of the Eagle reveals an intriguing nose of smoke and bacon, with wafts of delicatessen all the way through the aromatics. In some ways this seems more advanced to me than the 03, with its peppery fruits, tangy acid and warm finish.

Decanted four hours
Little sign of aging, dark berries and taut acidity, long and succulent
Third attempt at making this note:)

The star of an evening of shiraz.
Depth, intensity, beautiful balance and structure. Smooth with layers of black fruit and spice, supple tannins turning to tar and mediterranean herbs
Pricey; better value outside Oz
