Still plenty of sweet fruit, sandalwood, cedar box, and sadly, a generous dollop of brett I don’t mind it in my Rhone and Loire wines, but here it just takes center stage.

Holy hell are these drinking great. Lots of stemmy herbal notes on the first pop, but after a bit of a decant, this could be confused with the best of Burgundy.

from a coravin pour - on first taste - tight, acidic, very high toned red fruit, rubarb, strawberry profile. With some air rounding a bit more. Give this an hour of air to flesh out. with more air these puts on more weight - assuming whole cluster here as it has that style; it is well rounded with a profound mineral finish. Damn this is very good!!

From the PGC library release. PNP, drank over several hours. Fully mature Pinot, all about the savory notes, mushroom, some rhubarb and tart acidity. The fruit, raspberry, is in the background.
