  • The nose is really intense with red and black berry fruits. Feels a little less viscous than I remember from the last bottle. Pure cassis and blackcurrant fruit on the entry like Ribera with a really lovely sweet and sour rhubarb character towards the back of the palate and and zippy acidity to hold it all together.

  • Huge powerful aromas of blackcurrant and stewed rhubarb. Rich and unctuous on the palate with a perfect balance of ultra ripe fruit and zippy acidity. Really pure blackcurrant fruit and cassis on the entry, almost a liqueur like character. A bit of spice and red berries with time in the glass. Lovely stuff.

  • Excellent dessert wine. Not as sweet as a typical white ice wine and this was appealing. Very smooth, viscous texture with seductive expressions of strawberries, vanilla creme brûlée and burnt carmel.

  • Jammy red fruit, red currants and candied fruit aromas. Candied red currants, strawberries and honey on the palate with bright acidity. Very good balance between sweetness and acidity. Finish is medium-length. Would pair well with meals.
