  Just opened the 2010 over the weekend, seems it was best enjoyed in 2012-2016, but my local wine shop was still offering it several weeks ago. A little rusty in color, acidic right out of the bottle, but mellowed quickly. Bold and smooth. Great buy under $20 if you can still find it.

  Friends opened this at their 4/13/19 card night. It had an expressive nose of black cherry, plum, mocha, cocoa, anise and spice aromas. The palate was layered and very drinkable with flavors of black cherry, plum, toast, coffee and spice.

  Medium to deep garnet red with bricking on the edges. Notes of dried cherries, light mushrooms and a touch dusty. Very dry with quite a bit of cherries on the palate with a little earthiness and metallic notes in the medium plus finish. Moderate tannins (6.5/10) and medium plus acidity. Medium bodied. Would be interested in the higher level bottlings. Drink now.
