  • OMG! This wine is bringing out my inner valley girl here. Like bottle variation is bad…

So I bought two bottles of this, expecting like something fabulous. Opened one a while ago and was like disappointed. Now I like open the other bottle with a simple lunch like not expecting anything interesting and like, OMG, it’s what I originally expected.

Nose is shy with red fruit and an iron note. Palate shines with overripe blackberries, earth, spice, and a gorgeous velvet texture. Beautifully balanced. Long finish ends with an incense note. Drink this on its own, or with a really nice meal.

Remember to like fight bottle variation, like enjoy the wine, and avoid mixed metaphors and running on sentences that never end.

  • Nice, balanced and pleasant. It's at the limits of its aging potential.

  • Cabernet Sauvignon 49%, Petit Verdot 41% and Merlot 10%

Opened during Rosh Hashanah evening. Modern Bordeaux style. Full body, deep garnet color. Intense black fruits, flowers aroma complements by cedar wood and tobacco notes. Dominant black currant with bitter cherry notes palate and lingering juicy finish. Powerful and rich but juicy and fresh, complex wine but slightly loses balance because high alcohol, unexpected for this hot year nice acidity and muscular but completely integrated tannins that probably prolog its live. Food friendly, well pared with traditional Rosh Hashanah menu. Serve 15º - 18º. Open about one hour ahead. Drink now and next four years.
