Served blind Pale gold Initially the nose was quite ripe with some white peach and pear, almost as aromatic as a Riesling, but this very quickly faded to almost nothing Then bone dry, light acidity and very plush and easy on the palate with light melon flavors. Definitely ready to drink and I’d consider drinking soon while it’s fresh as it doesn’t have too much backbone and may soon just taste more dull. Clearly not Côte d’Or, but nice and easy

Straw to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of matchstick, yellow pears and wet stones. Flavors of pears, lemon and a hint of cinnamon. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short term.

Paired nicely with very spicy food. Good balance between fruits, acidity and oak. Not a wow wine but a great food wine. 89-90.
