Medium, golden, clean medium nose of tropical fruits, savory notes some Off-dry, well-balanced acidity, long finish, full of melon, pineapple, passion fruit, vanilla, malic acid, some spice, really well-balanced and structured, medium-bodied, long finish. Francine was inspired by the food-fest: worked nice with sea bass with mushrooms and green pea/broad bean risotto. Value/money = 8.5

Light straw, clear, clean with golden radiation. Mint, eucalyptus and pears on the nose, not very impressive. And then you sip it: great crunchy mouth feel, creamy yet light and minerally, peppery fully loaded finish with some malo notes. With shrimp, scallops, black lentils and merguez. A good wine. Value/money = 8.5

Walker Trade Show (Providence): Richer style, but not really that much there. Ok

Wildman & Sons 2007 Burgundy Barrel Tasting (The Clift, San Francisco): Perfumed wood, butterscotch, citrus. Rich, voluptuous palate with lemony, autolytic flavors and huge amounts of oak. There's some aggressive wood tannin on the back and slight alcoholic warmth.
